If you have been to the lake in the last several weeks, you have probably noticed the water level is high. In part that is because we have been getting quite a bit of rain. It is also in part due to the fact that the several beavers invaded the drain and plugged it for a period of time. As well, the drain suffered an additional outflow tubing failure. That has now been repaired / replaced. The drain is currently running at full capacity.
The drain replacement process continues to move along. We are getting very close to the County announcing a public discussion date. We will keep you updated as we are updated. The hope is to have the new drain, which will flow all year long as needed, installed before the end of 2017.
We have attached some pictures which show the outflow tubing which failed and the drain fully functional at this time.
