RE: Big Star Lake Association Contribution

We sincerely appreciate the $500 donation from the BSLA to the Mason County Walleye Association.

As you are aware, we reais Walleye for the DNR. We are a private, charitable organization recognized by the IRS as a tax deductible under 501(c)(3) of the tax code. We are funded by contributions from organizations such as yours and by fund raising activities put on by our directors. We hope that a relationship will develop where we can work together to make BSL an excellent fishery.

Our association appreciates your interest in helping us with the operating costs of the facility. Your help is welcome and I can assure you that our association will use what influence we have to see that BSL gets the fingerlings needed to maintain it’s fishery. In conversations we have had with the DNR, we understand that BSL has all the elements that they look for in determining if a particular lake will be a good one for Walleye stocking. We will encourage them to use fingerlings form our pond to stock it.

Again, thank you for your support.

Best regards,

Carter M. Koles, President
