After enjoying a steamy summer, we were surprised to greet the day of the race with 55 degree weather. 122 brave souls climbed out of their warm beds to once again test their athletic abilities. No records were broken, just lots of fun and memories made.
This year we are adding another competition for those who might be more artistic than athletic. Interested in changing the look of our t-shirts? Please submit your t-shirt design drawings on 8 1/2 x 11 paper, and submit to Mel’s at the Lake or mail to our P.O. Box (BSLA-Road Run, P.O. Box 140146, Grand Rapids, MI 49514). The lucky artist will have their artwork featured on our road run t-shirts including their autograph and run for free!
